With more than a decade of experience, Garrett has made personal relationships the core of his approach to financial planning. He believes that every successful strategy begins with a meaningful conversation – one that uncovers not just financial goals, but the values and priorities that shape them.
A graduate of NC State University, Garrett began his career in Raleigh before spending several years in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2018, he returned to North Carolina and has been serving clients in the Wilmington area ever since. He joined Sound Harbor Wealth Partners in 2025, drawn to the organization’s client-first philosophy and collaborative team environment.
To better support clients through retirement and beyond, he earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation, expanding his expertise in retirement planning. He’s also active in the community through the Wilmington Lions Club and regularly partners with local nonprofits focused on strengthening the region.
