Brandyn hails from Southwest Virginia, where he developed a keen interest in financial planning. Recognizing that effective money management can profoundly enhance people's lives, both now and in retirement, Brandyn pursued his passion at Virginia Tech. He graduated in 2021 with a BSBA in Finance, completing his degree in just three years. After finishing the Virginia Tech CFP Program, he briefly worked at Equitable Advisors before realizing his true passion lay in holistic financial planning. This realization led him to join Sound Harbor Wealth Partners in the spring of 2022.
Brandyn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses. As a Wealth Partner at SHWP, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial advice to current, future, and prospective clients.
Outside of his professional life, Brandyn is an active member of Port City Church. He enjoys following Virginia Tech sports, snowboarding, playing pickleball, and making the most of coastal living. Whether he's playing beach volleyball at Captain Bill's or enjoying time on the water, Brandyn embraces the vibrant lifestyle of Wilmington.
